The Palace of Versailles was built during the 17th century by the King of France, Louis XIV, who had the longest reign in European history (1643-1715). It is located in Versailles, which was a village at the time of the palace’s construction, and today it is a suburb of Paris. This castle-monument is famous in the world for its beauty as well as for the significant events that took place there. In the first phase, which lasted from 1664 to 1668, certain works were carried out on the palace and its garden, which was adapted to celebrate 600 guests.
