Cruising the Danube and Djerdap gorge, sailing through the winding meanders of the river and canyon Uvac as well as an unusual adventure in observing rare griffon vultures, washing gold on the river Pek, rafting or regatta on the river Drina, Lim and Ibar are just some of the unforgettable moments that rivers and lakes Serbia can offer you. Serbia does not have many lakes, and most of them are artificially made. The largest among them is Djerdap Lake, followed by Vlasina Lake and Lake Perućac. The most visited tourist destinations are Palićko Lake, Srebrno Lake, and Belocrkvanska Lakes. A large number of lakes have well-kept beaches, they are characterized by emerald blue water and preserved nature, they are rich in fish, which gives them a special charm during the fishing season. The extraordinary nature, rivers, and lakes of Serbia for refreshment on the hot summer days are the best choice for a vacation.
